Dr Munday graduated from Adelaide University in 1987 and completed his specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in early 1997.
He entered private practice in February 1997 and joined the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital as a staff specialist with a special interest in Minimally Invasive Surgery.
In 1999 he joined the late Professor John Kerin in private practice at Ashford then North Adelaide and was fortunate to have him as a valuable mentor and assistant in Minimally Invasive Surgery and treatment of endometriosis (in particular) early in his career.
Since those early years, Dr Munday has developed his skills in advanced (level 5-6) laparoscopic surgery including total laparoscopic hysterectomy for very large fibroids and severe endometriosis. He also performs laparoscopic pelvic floor surgery (for utero-vaginal prolapse). Since January 2019 Dr Munday has been performing da Vinci Robot Assisted Advanced Laparoscopic procedures such as Total or Subtotal Hysterectomy, Pelvic Floor Repair for large vaginal prolapses and treatment of Endometriosis.
Dr Munday is credentialed to perform da Vinci Robot procedures at Calvary North Adelaide Hospital. He is also accredited to supervise other gynaecologists still learning to use the da Vinci robot for gynaecological procedures in both South Australia and interstate. He remains an enthusiastic teacher of all forms of minimally invasive gynaecological surgery.

Dr Jodie Semmler joined the practice in 2001. She completed her medical degree at the University of Adelaide in 1990 and has trained in gynaecology in both the United Kingdom and Australia. She has had extensive training in laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery and has a special interest in laparoscopic hysterectomy, endometriosis excision, endometrial ablation (for treatment of heavy periods), colposcopy and infertility. Dr Semmler has worked and trained in Reproductive Medicine for over 10 years. She is a consultant at Fertility SA and as such is able to offer continuity of care for couples requiring more advanced infertility treatment such as IVF.

Dr Knight is an experienced Gynaecologist who joined the practice at the beginning of 2016. After graduating from The Australian National University in Canberra he trained in O & G at The Canberra Hospital and Calvary Hospital then the Launceston General Hospital in Tasmania. After 13 years he returned to Adelaide to a) be closer to the Central Market and their comprehensive cheese selection b) complete advanced speciality training in Minimally Invasive Surgery and Urogynaecology at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. He is married and has two children. In his spare time, he dreams of learning to professionally groom his standard poodle Viking so he can wow all the other dogs at the park.

After a rewarding time, both professionally and personally, in rural South Australia and the Northern Territory Dr Fielke completed his GP training. However, his passion for Women’s Health was revealed during this time and he turned to completing training as a specialist Gynaecologist.
While completing his gynaecology training Dr Fielke also completed a Master of Minimally Invasive Surgery and a Master of Public Health. He is currently in the process of completing a Master of Medicine (Pain Management) and has a developing interest in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and its impact in surgery.
Dr Fielke has a special interest in the minimally invasive surgical approaches to the management of menstrual disorders and complex endometriosis. He also has a passionate interest in pelvic floor disorders including prolapse and urinary incontinence.
Dr Fielke believes minimally invasive surgery is not just about the size of the cut but having a comprehensive approach that spans all stages of your surgical journey to minimise the stress of surgery and maximise your recovery.

Anna is the newest member of the practice having joined in 2024. She is one of the few Gynaecologists in South Australia who has completed the Australasian Gynaecological Endoscopy and Surgery (AGES) Fellowship. This has allowed her to develop skills in advanced endoscopic surgery including excision of severe endometriosis and fibroids and both laparoscopic and vNOTES hysterectomies. She is currently assisting with robotic surgery.
Anna aims to empower her patients to be able to live their lives to the fullest and feels passionate that people’s lives shouldn’t be limited by gynaecological concerns. She is open minded and inclusive with a warm and genuine bedside manner. Anna is comfortable seeing people of all ages with gynaecological issues across the gender spectrum.
Anna obtained her undergraduate medical degree at the University of New South Wales and combined this with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Politics and International Relations. She has a Masters in International Public health and has spent time working as an intern at the World Health Organisation in Geneva. She has lived in and helped develop public health programs in Fiji, Ghana and East Timor. With a group of other South Australian doctors, Anna is currently helping to set up a Laparoscopy program in Fiji. She is also interested in improving outcomes for indigenous Australians and will be commencing clinics in the APY lands in 2024.
Anna also lectures for medical students through Adelaide University.
Despite her busy job, Anna likes to spend time with her family and friends. She loves trail running, swimming, yoga, hiking and camping. Anna is a passionate traveller and is currently learning French.

Sonja joined us in 2008 and holds two positions in our Practice as Practice Manager and Practice Nurse. She has worked in Women’s Health in both the Private and Public Hospital systems and has extensive experience in Specialists rooms. Sonja trained as an enrolled nurse in 1982 and brings a wealth of experience in both nursing and doctors’rooms administration. She will happily answer all your administrative and nursing related concerns.
Jodie joined our practice in September 2005. She commenced her career in the health industry in 1985 and has since worked in both hospital and private practice settings with extensive experience in Women’s Health and is a highly valued member of our team not only for her efficient and friendly manner but her sense of humour and good nature. She is responsible for our medical typing, administrative enquiries, appointment bookings and all other areas of administration.
